This live webcam is from the Pacific Palisades in the Santa Monica Mountains looking south towards Santa Monica Bay. In the distance you can see Santa Monica, Venice, LAX, Rancho Palos Verdes and Catalina Island. During the Summer months you will see a marine layer come in and the famous "June Gloom." Many times the beach will be socked in with Fog below and it will be sunny at this mountain top webcam. Winter months can offer the most spectacular clear days and dramatic storms.
