Pacific Palisades Bay Cam image updating every 4 seconds
Above is a Live Webcam from the Santa Monica Mountains in the Pacific Palisades. The cam is pointed south, towards the Santa Monica Bay. You can see in the distance the Pacific Ocean, Venice and Santa Monica Beaches, LAX, The Palos Verdes Peninsula and even Catalina Island (on a very clear day). During the summer, the Coastal area tends to get a lot of fog, locally termed "June Gloom." Often the beach area will be sock-in with fog, while above in the hills and just a few miles inland, it will be warm and sunny. The Winter in the Palisades usually offers the most spectacular, clear days when you will be able to see all the way out to Catalina Island.
